About the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce

Chamber Mission and Service Area

The Grayslake Chamber welcomes you to Grayslake!

You are now a resident of a town with a rich history and a vibrant future. Our Chamber plays an integral part in Grayslake’s activities and community activities. With strong relationships with the village, park district, exchange club, schools and other organizations, we coordinate and execute multiple events throughout the year.

You will enjoy the Arts Fest, The 5K Family Fun Run and Walk, craft beer
festival and Summer Days, which features bands, ride and an evening parade. A truly spectacular hot air balloon fest, the downtown trick-or-treat is always a kids favorite and we wrap the year up turning the downtown into Bedford Falls for the holiday season.

We hope to see you and many of these events this year!

Chamber History

The Grayslake Chamber of Commerce was started in 1950.

The Grayslake Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a voluntary, non-profit organization comprised of over 200 commercial, industrial, professional, and retail firms as members. The Chamber acts as a liaison between the business community, state and local governments and local citizens on matters concerning their well being.

The Chamber provides its members opportunities in numerous business services including joint advertising programs,  business referral services, informative general membership meetings and various opportunities to network.

Grayslake is a great place to live, work and raise a family, primarily because of the people who make it their business to invest their time and effort into the community.

In 2020, the Grayslake Chamber was supposed to celebrated 125th anniversary of the Village of Grayslake. Due to the Covid-19 Virus, this was postponed to 2021 and it was called 125 + 1!
